Every high-performance slewing bearing relies on a precisely machined raceway. The raceway acts as the running track for rolling elements. Its dimensional accuracy and surface finish directly decide the load capacity, rotating smoothness and service life of the slewing ring.

This 9-second footage captures the finish turning process of the slewing bearing raceway on our CNC vertical lathe.
The workpiece is firmly fixed on the rotary table. The cutting tool feeds following the programmed path, removing excess material to form the required raceway profile.

Finish turning is far different from rough machining. We closely control spindle speed, feed rate and cutting depth to maintain tight contour tolerance and good surface roughness. Even minor defects on the raceway will cause uneven stress on rolling elements, which results in vibration, abnormal noise and premature failure in heavy-duty operation.
Our slewing bearings are widely supplied for construction machinery, mining machines, concrete pump trucks and other harsh heavy-load applications. Accurate raceway machining is the key to stable long-term performance.
After finish turning, the raceway will go through heat treatment and raceway grinding, before assembly and final inspection.
